Nothing can describe the beauty of a serene mountain lake in summer. Shorelines that raise up to the heavens in a spectacular sweep. A miriad of small islands dot the glassy surface beckoning exploration, impossible to resist.
Diane began painting full time in 2001, after working as a freelance graphic designer in the Specialty Ad and Electronic Publishing industries. "Lots of creativity, an eye for abstract design and a passion for color is what I was born with. Painting in Watercolor, Acrylic, Inks and later Digital Media is what developed over many years. I like to mix mediums wherever possible to get the look and feel I want. Light, and the way it is juxtaposed with shadow excites my attention and brings my imagination to full throttle.
